Ashcan has learnt a trick or two from a mysterious native American who also gave him his trusted ritualistic bow.

The idea of the deck is to build Ashcan's with the key assets (Moonstone, Peter Sylvestre and Dark Horse), using the resources you get from Drawing Thin, Take Heart (ideally together in an investigate test) and Forbidden Knowledge, whose horror you can manage thanks to Peter Sylvestre. If you get two of the key assets, you get to 5 Willpower and 5 Agility (and that's without Dark Horse). is good to evade enemies (duh), especially when you are Wracked by Nightmares, and is also needed to use the Ornate Bow. is good to survive the encounter deck (which Pete might see more of because he's Drawn to the Flame).

"Ashcan" Pete is one of the investigators who can play Moonstone more easily than most.

If you need the Dark Horse boost, use Scrapper to spend your resources in a Duke attack test or in an evade test.

Fighting

You can fight with Duke and the Ornate Bow (with 7 overall with two of the boosting assets in play and active), and if that's not enough to kill the monster, evade it to recharge your bow and let Duke rest. If it has only 2 Health left, Duke can be readied thanks to Ashcan's capacity and boosted with Overpower or Scrapper.

Health and Sanity

Peter Sylvestre is your sanity soak. You have Leather Coat because Peter Sylvestre is not a health soak - he's your only Ally in this deck, so spare him as much as possible to use his capacity.

Finding clues

That's a bit more tricky. You have no boost, except for Dark Horse. So you rely on Duke, "Look what I found!", Drawn to the Flame and, occasionally Belly of the Beast if Duke is not available or if the test would be too hard for him. Don't forget to scry before being drawn to the Flame, if possible.

Deckbuilding issues

Considering Ashcan's potentially high willpower, should Scrying be replaced with Rite of Seeking or Sixth Sense? The reason why I didn't include one of those two clue-finding spells is that they are so expensive (and there are already quite a few expensive assets for a survivor here; Ornate Bow 4, Moonstone 3, Peter Sylvestre 3, Dark Horse 3) - also, expensive cards and Dark Horse don't go well together since you need to keep your resources low.

I would like to keep the thematically relevant Moonstone, but of course Track Shoes is an alternative to it - you trade a -boosting card for a mobility-boosting card.

There are other cards that take advantage of a high , but I've had a hard time trying to make space for them. If you have any suggestion to make, please do!
