- What role is the deck?
Clue Gatherer - How many players is this deck for?
Multiplayer - Which campaign is this deck for? Are there any card choices specific for that campaign?
Was not designed for a specific campaign, but from my knowledge should work in both Dunwich and Carcosa. - Does the deck use a limited card pool (not everything released)?
Everything up to City of Archives not including Novellas.
My self imposed banned list I use for a campaign I'm familiar with:
Dr. Milan Christopher, Higher Education, Machete, Strange Solution: Acidic Ichor, Peter Sylvestre (2), Key of Ys, Leo De Luca, and Delve Too Deep is restricted to classes that can take it without limiting their card pool. - If it's a multiplayer deck: Who would the deck like to be paired with? Which cards do you expect them to run that will help you specifically?
Anyone focusing on fighting. - What is your Mulligan strategy?
Priority 1: Old Book of Lore, Eureka!, No Stone Unturned. Priority 2: St. Hubert's Key, Alyssa Graham, Magnifying Glass. - What is your upgrade path? Priorities in general, priorities to get before a specific scenario?
Honestly, this deck could probably jump into an end game scenario and do fine with 0 xp. There aren't any real high priority cards you need. Here is a list of cards I would consider:
Encyclopedia to replace Magnifying Glass
No Stone Unturned
Ward of Protection
Deduction
Pathfinder to replace Shortcut
Bulletproof Vest in place of "I've got a plan!" once your partner can do all the fighting.
Counterspell or Time Warp to replace Logical Reasoning
Key card choices:
Old Book of Lore the reason I play Daisy. Free Eureka! every turn for you or your partners!
Research Librarian is not in the deck because I feel that No Stone Unturned and Eureka! will do a good enough job, and can also be used to find other key cards like Alyssa Graham and St. Hubert's Key.
St. Hubert's Key increases our , the is just a bonus. Daisy will rarely feel the lack of sanity.
Alyssa Graham since my self imposed ban restricts the use of Dr. Milan Christopher another passive bonus.
Magnifying Glass and no Flashlight because with a base of 5, Daisy doesn't need to reduce a shroud of a location to 0 in order to mostly guarantee success. She prefers the consistency over many tests. She wants to hold Old Book of Lore in one hand, and something cheap in the other, in case she draws The Necronomicon.
Premonition is amazing and I find it is often better than a +2 skill.
Logical Reasoning is for your partners more than you. If they don't need it, you can replace it with a skill card like Unexpected Courage.
