"I must fight on!"
This deck is a full fighting focused build for 4-player campaigns.
Normally 4-player games consists on 1 investigator, 1 fighter and 2 flex, which can alter very much the deckbuilding strategy mainly presented on ArkhamDB.
In my first playthrough I played this deck without In the Thick of It since I was not entirely sure I would be able to tank all necessary damage and was experimenting other variants, you can do it too if you are not confident or not trusting your friends early campaign decks. If you take it, 2 health trauma is not a big thing since you'll have heals from other cards and normally your main issue is your sanity pool.
I tried to play another types of decks such as Blessing of Isis or The Book of War variants, but found very hard to use blessing in 4-player games, specially in the starting decks when you have few ways to prevent them from taking all the bless tokens from the bag.
It's very hard to be consistent with Bandolier + Backpack and Gloves + Book. I think The Book is best used in a flex deck for Cho with another weapon of choice that only uses 1 hand slot.
Strategy:
Hard mulligan for Boxing Gloves or Backpack. Keep Randall Cho if you don't have upgraded Backpack, but it will cost very much if you do not have upgraded the gloves yet.
Brand of Cthugha is a good card to deal with 2 health monsters without spending event cards. Some times you need 1 extra damage when you have to do multiple attacks in one-turn too. It can be a reliable option when you bricked your initial hand after mulligan and need to start fighting immediately.
Handcuffs is great to deal with Tommy Malloy, but without Stick to the Plan it's like an action gamble if you end up not drawing him in the scenario, in long games you will run through all cards and guarantee finding him. Daring can help to ensure a success evading him.
Glory can combo with Boxing Gloves, just keep in mind that if you are looking for a specific cards your odds are better if you use Glory first. Try not to draw cards in your last action if you have not yet dealt with Tommy Malloy or you can be punished losing your entire turn or taking a lot of damage because of greed.
Ever Vigilant is awesome to put multiple assets in to play without losing too many actions, with Backpack is great too if you are not holding 3 assets in hand. It gets a lot better when you have Stick to the Plan, than you can put it aside with Emergency Cache / On the Hunt and another Tactic card of your choice, such as Sweeping Kick.
Sweeping Kick is best used when you need to evade something like a big enemy that you will cannot deal in only 1 turn and would have to take a huge blow in enemy phase. You can choose to put another one in the deck in the place of Toe to Toe, but I would only do this after finishing upgrading everything first.
"I've had worse…" can help to tank more damage and gain resources without spending actions, you can combine it with Toe to Toe or when you would trigger attacks of opportunity that would save you actions.
On the Hunt is a great choice of substitute for Emergency Cache and to start choosing cards with Boxing Gloves but keep in mind that normally you don't need On the Hunt in 4-player games since the chances of having enemies on the board are already high.
Counterpunch and "Get over here!" are deluxe upgrades that can trigger your ability in different phases from your main turn.
One-Two Punch seems nice to have a 6 damage card option but it's too much experience to prioritize over the other cards.
You can use Stand Together if you have poor friends and want to help them. As a solo fighter normally I prioritize myself since you are mostly playing a different game from the rest of the team. Keep in mind it will be hard to spend an action to use it and most of the time you will be looking for damage events with your gloves. Stand Together its great but as I mentioned before you always have the risk of drawing Tommy Malloy and losing a lot of actions if you don't time it perfectly.
Empty Vessel is very easy to trigger if you are mainly destroying every enemy on the table and you can find it early easily with Backpack. But you will lose the ability to rescue your dying enemies or campaign allies with Hallowed Mirror if they don't have heals or are succumbing to treacheries during the scenarios.
