Do you want to tutor better than Mandy Thompson? Do you want to draw your entire deck, but hate the color yellow?

Have no fear, Custom Modificationsis here! This deck can reliably see 30 cards on turn 1, and will draw through the remainder of your deck with startling quickness.

Turn 1: Attach Ever Vigilant, Act of Desperation, and 1 copy of Custom Modifications to your Stick to the Plan.

3 cards.

Draw your opening hand and mulligan hard for Backpack, Salvage, Resourceful, and Becky.

5 more cards. 8 cards total.

Your Short Supply fires, putting an additional 10 cards into your discard pile.

18 cards.

Now you play your Backpack. If you didn't get it, you get it back from your discard pile with Salvage. If you milled both, commit a Resourceful to someone's test and get back your Salvage to get back your Backpack. Search an additional 12 cards out of the 15 left (unless this is Standalone and you have a bunch of weaknesses left).

30 cards seen on turn 1.

Now, what about the rest of the game? Is this level of consistency not enough for you? Fine.

Play a Custom Modifications onto Becky. We took Extended Stock, so every time we play an upgrade onto Becky, we draw another card.

We have 10 upgrades.

So we've seen our entire deck on turn 1, we've drawn through everything else, keeping Becky stocked with Leather Coats and Cherished Keepsakes and Beat Cops, and we've drawn everything else with our Extended Stock.

Now we throw Becky away. Act of Desperation alongside Well-Maintained puts Becky AND all of our upgrades back into our hand, ready to be played out again.

I love it!

You are missing Short Supply in the list though.

I prefer Heavy Furs over Leather Coat. Also Teamwork or Schoffner's Catalogue can help other profit from the abundant resources. Mk 1 Grenades, Talisman of Protection, Police Badge can be a massive fun factor.

@Weges you are absolutely right, I entirely forgot to add Short Supply into the actual decklist. My mistake.

I went with Leather Coat over Heavy Furs mainly because this deck will likely have significantly fewer resources than the average Tommy deck, due to turning most of the resources gained into bullets on Becky, and spending everything else on your various upgrades.

10 Upgrades? I count 8, and that's including Custom Modifications, which is limit one per asset to begin with. So 6 that get you a draw, and half are either expensive or not fast. I played something pretty similar recently but it doesn't get you that much draw, and there's really no point in throwing Becky away once you already have her in play and upgraded. I had a couple of .45 Thompsons that let me near guarantee a weapon without backpack, and could be RFG'd for 6 resources if you just opened Becky anyway. Salvage is definitely a godsend for Tommy.

"Act of Desperation alongside Well-Maintained puts Becky AND all of our upgrades back into our hand" - all upgrades except for Well-Maintained itself.
