This is the exp version of Aschan's "Duke and Pete On Their Own" deck. Please note that only difference is that here we are starting with 2x Lanterns instead of 2x Winging It as I believe it would provide more bang for your buck.

All that said, if you want to see logic behind the deck you can check out original (level 0) deck instead. I'll just outline possible upgrade paths here.

1x Lantern/1x Perception -> 2x On Your Own

2x Dark Horse -> 1x True Survivor/1x Will to Survive (like I previously mentioned you can go instead 2x Will to Survive) - This is the most tricky part because you will want to switch 2 Dark Horse cards at once, since it doesn't play good with Will to Survive at all.

2x Flashlight -> 1x True Survivor/1x Will to Survive

1x Manual Dexterity / 1x Leather Coat or 1x Cherished Keepsake -> 2x A Chance Encounter - I really would like to try this one. At first it looks a little bit situational. The thing I focused on is damage/horror soak and absence of it because there are no allies. Luckily we do have an Ally, it is our loyal Duke. When you have this in hand feel free to play more carefree and sacrifice #Duke when you are getting bombarded by damage/horror. If you have On Your Own in front of you, you can bring the Duke back for free (even without taking an Ally slot he is still traited as an Ally). Since Duke has more sanity soak, you can remove one Cherished Keepsake instead of Leather Coat, but feel free to change it up to suit your needs (depending on trauma and/or campaign you are playing). Same goes for Manual Dexterity removal, it's mostly because we plan to pick up Scrapper (or we already picked it up), but it also depends on the campaign and/or your group composition.

1x Scrapper - You can pick this up little bit earlier, it will help with evading if you are in need of that, and it will buff up your fight if needed be. I believe there will be some money to go around since you will not use it up for expensive assets and On Your Own will bring down the cost of all events played plus we have Take Heart for additional economy boost, but be careful and manage your resources.

2x Lucky! -> 2x Lucky! - Pretty straightforward, but not so essential upgrade, so leave it for the end.

If you find more exp and you will in some campaigns, you can check some of exile stuff. Like A Test of Will, Devil's Luck, Stroke of Luck (note that it's Innate traited so you can pull it back if you don't exile it with True Survivor). Alter Fate is also good tech card which you can consider and neutral soaks Bulletproof Vest and Elder Sign Amulet if you want to go all in on tanking or you were down on your luck with traumas.

As for what to remove, I would say Cherished Keepsake/Leather Coat/Live and Learn/Neutral skills. All neutral skills are interchangeable, they replace themselves of course which is good to fetch our combo pieces quicker, but also Guts is there as alternative damage/horror soak, since most of treacheries that test will give you horror/damage in some way. Perception helps us with our main goal and Manual Dexterity helps us with evade heavy scenarios (note that Scrapper can help you with that also). So If you are getting neutral soaks Bulletproof Vest or Elder Sign Amulet replace survivor versions of them. If you are picking up some of the exile cards replace some of the skills and/or Live and Learn. Keep an eye on your group composition, campaign focus, traumas and act accordingly.
