Hello everyone! I'm RavenX and this is going to be my first stab at a full deck guide! Rogue types are my favorite RPG classes to play and in Arkham Horror TCG we have a ton of awesome sub themes to run with. For Winifred we are going to be taking advantage of the succeed by x or more theme.

Before we dive into the full list, let's get an idea of the goal of our deck. Utilizing the versatility of Green, Winifred can be the Swiss army knife of any party. We can fight in a pinch, investigate clues when advantageous or needed, and take care of those pesky scenario actions other classes get set behind in tempo by. We want to take this concept a step further and say not only can I handle that, but I'm going to succeed by x more and get a ton of tempo in the shape of resources/card draw/extra item uses.

The Core: We have Mauser C96 when we need to fight things. It's level 0 is a bit clunky but it'll do for a bit. This deck is going to run an overload of skills to ensure overly successful checks.

Lucky Cigarette Case helps us get what we need when we need it.

Opportunist is a great skill and even better with XP investment

To help us ensure success by x Daring Maneuver makes a nice fit.

Gregory Gry is a nice way to boost our income the little bit we need to make it run.

In terms of investigating Lockpicks are always useful and cheap to upgrade later.

We are going to be awful at mind tests so until the late game "You handle this one!" passes it to the player best suited to take it. Otherwise we either taking the hit (which is fine early in the scenario, Winifred is rather tanky) or commiting cards we want to use to win more on other checks.

Later on with xp we gain access to upgraded Pickpocketing to further the tempo gains, and Daredevil to add that second skill we want to our checks.

Ideal Opening Hand:

Lucky Cigarette Case, Mauser C96, Lockpicks, Gregory Gry, Pickpocketing

Why Winifred?

In order to ensure overly successful skill checks, we want to be committing cards to the checks to boost our stats. Skills are best for this as doing it with assets and events will normally mean not getting the use of said card. Winifred's unique ability draws us a card every time we commit 2 non-weakness cards to any skill check, which will be quite often and card draw is amazing. Anything You Can Do, Better is also screaming to be played in this deck theme. As a note her weakness Arrogance can sometimes be pesky, however I find it to be one of the least punishing weaknesses and our deck can handle a -1.

Upgrade path:

My first priority is to streamline our skills deck. This better ensures our deck goals.

+2 Daredevil -2 Overpower Overpower will never get snagged by Daredevil in a fight and was really a placeholder for it.

Next we upgrade to Manual Dexterity getting more hits for our Daredevil as it becomes a card.

At this time it's best to mention we should add in Easy Mark anytime we have 1xp to spare at the end of a scenario. By now we want all 3 so get what you don't have yet and go -2 Emergency Cache -1 Backstab. Backstab really only needs to be a 1 of in the deck as we will upgrade it eventually to return it to hand and we have card draw to find it.

With our skills and resources in order we now want +1 High Roller -1 "You handle this one!" as a solid resource dump and way to win harder more often. We are getting rid of "you can handle this one" slowly because our deck is overall in a better place to deal with a pesky event card.

Personal choice on upgrading your cards from here but I would prioritize Backstab Mauser C96 and Pickpocketing

Our last deck change when you want to pull the trigger after upgrades +1 All In -1 "You handle this one!".

Any extra XP spend on skill upgrades.

I hope you all enjoy playing my take on Succeed By X or more with Winifred! Happy gaming everyone!
