This is a very straightforward Skids deck, designed around kicking a lot of ass and taking just as many names.

Between the Machete, Switchblade, Vicious Blow, Hard Knocks, and Overpower, you should be able to lay down some serious punishment on anything that crosses your path, with Backstab as backup for the nastier or more time-sensitive threats.

Elusive and Pickpocketing should be used liberally, especially to help set up a Sneak Attack.

On the Lam and Dodge make you an incredible tank, giving you survivability the likes of Agnes, Daisy, and Wendy can only dream of, while still being able to pump out just as much damage, just as reliably. I've only seen a Shotgun Roland do better (and even then, only in bursts).

Your only real weakness will be Investigating. Flashlight will obviously help, and Evidence! just further cements your role as party killbot. Don't hesitate to burn On the Lam for a big boost to Investigate when it's needed -- its better to pass the crucial Investigate test than save it for the getaway/big fight. Besides, nothing hurts more than an Amnesia at the wrong time.

Ideally, you're getting (and holding) enemies' attention long enough to Evade, then lay on the smackdown. As Skids, you can take a few to the jaw before going down, but one poorly-timed Encounter is all it will take to push you into the Bad Numbers, so be careful. Avoid unnecessary fights, but don't hesitate to start (and subsequently finish) the necessary ones.

Obviously, this is going to combo super well with an Investigation-geared Roland or Daisy, especially the latter for her amazing support repertoire. I've had mixed results when paired with Wendy, and not enough with Agnes to speak definitively on the matter.

I like the design of this deck, and it's good to see the early shift already away from asset-heavy decks. A small point: Elusive doesn't combine particularly well with Sneak Attack, in that the former disengages you away from enemies (which isn't the same as evading them, so they don't exhaust), so they aren't sitting ducks for the sneak attack. You're better off doing a straight evade test, and then dropping the smackdown. Point taken that pickpocketing rewards evasion though!

You're right about Elusive, I only just realized that myself last night. Cat Burglar has the same problem, which was one of the cards I planned to EXP in to.

I mean, combined with a boom, it doesn't matter if the enemies are evaded or disengaged from, as long as you're at another location, but that's a different plan than the one-two of evade+sneak attack. And Elusive has other potencies - it's not 'move to a connecting location' but any revealed location with no enemies. So you can travel quite some distance if needs be (and locations have been suitably discovered).
