Start each scenario with...

• Discipline (+1 ) in play (granting +3 different fight/evade actions),
• Discipline (+1 ) in play (granting +5 on a skill test),
• Discipline (+1 ) in play (granting damage/horror conversion),
• 1 physical trauma & 1 mental trauma (from In the Thick of It, which granted +3 XP during deck creation), and
• 1 mental trauma (from a scenario effect).

Deck Notes

Consider the following card-specific concepts while playing this deck:

• The most important card to mulligan for, in the initial hand (opening draw), is Dragon Pole (or Prepared for the Worst, to search for Lily's signature melee weapon).
• Arcane Initiate, Eldritch Initiation, Prepared for the Worst [see above], Scrying, and Stand Together are useful for finding needed cards.
• Playing at least 2 arcane slot assets, as early as possible, is important to "power up" the Dragon Pole, and also, to counteract the Ectoplasmic Horror basic weakness.
• Playing Prophetic early helps pay for many events and most arcane slot assets, that is, almost half the cards in this deck.
