Arkham Guide for Zoey Samaras
Hello fellow investigators and welcome to my guide for Zoey.
Investigator Overview
Zoey has the most efficient resource pool compare to every other invstigator. That makes her consistent allowing you to play high cost cards without any problem. Her high and helps her alot with the treacheries and the enemies of the encounter deck. Her signature card helps you killing weak enemies without even fight. Her weakness card is not that bad comparing to other investigators. Her biggest problem her low making us build our deck around it. Her second problem is her low sanity and . Although her high health can take some dmg and her high can protect your low sanity from the treacheries that Mythos offers.
Mulligan and gameplay
Try to mulligan for your Rite of Seeking and a random weapon. If you got the combo Lone Wolf / Zoey's Cross in your starting hand KEEP it!
Card Choice: I will only refer to the 5 card choices from the other class. Why Rite of Seeking over other cards like Drawn to the Flame or Working a Hunch? Your will go up over time in the course of the campaign. It will get boost through Brother Xavier and Police Badge while having Guts and Unexpected Courage boosting it in the first scenarios. Remember your prio is to gear up 1st and make resources flow in order to play safely your Calling in Favors combo. Rite of Seeking will always be there for your last action to steal those 2 clues.
Art Student Is there for Calling in Favors combo. Getting 4 clues for free is more than enough for fast clue gathering.
Lone Wolf I can't consider a solo experience without it. Knowing i get a free resource every turn i organise my actions better and more aggressive.
Gameplay: Your goal is to start with a weapon and Rite of Seeking. Try to gear up and save the last action for investigating. You 're lacking of mobility so try to take clues from high shroud locations with Art Student and Evidence!. Calling in Favors will help you repeat that. In the end of the scenario you must be prepared to OTK the elite enemy with your cards. You consistenly deal 3 dmg in every action + Dynamite Blast to finish it.
Upgrade choices
Prior to Beat Cop and Charisma. More or less i count around 28 - 32 experience points in a campaign. So next choices are Brother Xavier to boost your and your Rite of Seeking. Followed by Stick to the Plan. Vicious Blow, "I've had worse…", Police Badge. Leave for last 2x .45 Automatic.
