I just finished a compaign with Kōhaku. His ability is pretty good for bless running!
I found that Kōhaku has many excellent choices for hand slots, meanwhile his Book occupies the hand slot. Imagine you have equipped the book and the Wicked Athame, then you will not play Flashlight anymore. I think Rite of Seeking, Clairvoyance, or even St. Hubert's Key for will be a better choice for clue finding.
