This deck makes use of several things Preston has going for him: his access to Survivor’s Test at 0 archetype, his ability to fail tests quite easily, and his access to expensive events and allies like Lola Santiago, who would otherwise not often be available in the same deck. You want to invest in the upgraded Flashlight as quickly as possible, along with cards like Gumption to make sure that you’re able to reduce skill values further and more consistently. Lola’s ability can be activated for 0 resources without much effort in this build.

When you need to spend your resources on things the deck provides good Service events, and whenever you’re about to fail a test that could otherwise turn nasty for you, Lucky! and Money Talks are there to bail you out of trouble.

This deck should perform pretty well in campaigns like Forgotten Age thanks to its decent Evade support as well. Have fun never taking tests the same way ever again!
