Part of a series of decks I've made to help introduce new players to the game with decks that are still in some way thematic.

This Ursula Downs deck is a no-nonsense just investigate and get clues seeker deck, while doing as much Fieldwork as possible. Use Ursula's bonus action to Burn the Midnight Oil, Map the Area, or write in your Grim Memoir. Leaving before getting every clue on your location? That's why you packed your Telescope! You'll find the answers you seek yet.

Each of these decks also includes a 19XP side deck. Prioritize upgrading Whitton Greene as soon as possible so you can better dig up all the relics during your adventures. Who needs to conduct fieldwork when you have a compass from another world? Shortcuts are nice, but sometimes it is better to hike the scenic route. And I prefer the cold comfort of Grotesque Statues rather than a bulky metallic flashlight when I'm investigating dark places.

If you want to take this deck through a longer campaign than Night of the Zealot, consider making better use of Ursula's relic access by taking treasures like The Skeleton Key, or The Gold Pocket Watch. You can make your grotesque statues more efficient by, making them grotesquer. Maybe you want to open up your relationship with Whitton to include your old pal Jake for some reason. If you are charismatic enough, you can pull it off. Finally, I just ran out of the XP necessary in my self-imposed 19XP sideboard to slip in replacing your telescopes with the slightly more versatile, slightly less takes-up-a-hand-slot In the Know.
