Slippery

Evade and move enemies with Hyperawareness, Bait and Switch, Shortcut and Elusive and boost it with Manual Dexterity.

Clue Machine

His ability, Magnifying Glass, Dr. Milan Christopher, Hyperawareness, Seeking Answers, Deduction and the boost with Perception make him an excellent clue gatherer.

Having a Blast

After evading and/or moving away, obviously throw in some Dynamite Blast to clear crowded locations. Alternatively, grill persistent enemies with Mind over Matter.

Use Old Book of Lore as much as possible to avoid Rex's Curse!

But, I just have a question: how can he use Old Book of Lore to avoid Rex's Curse?

@zrj You use it every turn to draw a card and if Rex's Curse is amongst the three cards you choose from, it'll get shuffled back. As long as Rex's Curse doesn't end up on top of the deck somehow, you'll be able to constantly avoid it at the cost of 1 action per turn ... which I'm not sure is worth it. But yeah, the revelation ability doesn't trigger until the card is drawn.

@necroshey This is the right answer. Of course, there is no guarantee not to get Rex's Curse via the mandatory draw or (ironically, but even worse) Search for the Truth. But even then, if you draw the curse and it gets shuffled back into the deck, chances are good to avoid it again with Old Book of Lore.

I am sure this approach is nothing new, and I would argue Old Book of Lore is such a good card in general and worth the action every time.

Alternatively, if you want to be even safer regarding the curse (although I am not sure if this is worth it) you could swap Bait and Switch/Elusive/Dynamite Blast for some Scrying and Research Librarian to draw into the book sooner.
