Ideal Board:
- 2x Astronomical Atlas (Priority)
- 1x Livre d'Eibon + 1x Arcane Enlightenment (lower priority than 2x Astronomical Atlas, since you can just cycle until you hit Arcane Enlightment + Livre)
- 1x Divination (use Ghastly Possession or another copy of Divination to refresh).

Old Man Setup
- Use Research Librarian to tutor for Astronomical Atlas and Livre d'Eibon to set up, and then discard them from play with Summoned Servitor.
- Use Arcane Enlightenment to have 2x Astronomical Atlas + Livre d'Eibon in play at the same time.
Old Man Strategies
- For important locations, prepare Ghastly Possession on one copy of Astronomical Atlas one turn before you plan to investigate. and then use Livre + two copies of Astronomical Atlas to use Ghastly Possession + Divination to investigate 3 times at 8 Lore to get up to 9 clues. You can also use Summoned Servitor to investigate an additional 4th time with Deduction + St. Hubert's Key at 6 Lore for an additional 2 clues, bringing Norman up to 11 possible clues per turn.
- Alternate between using Lore and Will checks on Divination depending on which type of dedications Norman Withers has in hand or attached facedown to both copies of Astronomical Atlas.
- Assuming you draw or play Winging It before drawing The Harbinger, The Harbinger will prevent Winging It from shuffling into your deck from your discard pile. This allows Norman Withers to play Winging It from his discard pile each turn until he runs out of actions / resources.
- When cycling your deck, remember that Astronomical Atlas can be used to do more than just dedicate / draw additional cards from the top of your deck. It can also be used to thin your deck of cards that you used for setting up, like Research Librarian and Astounding Revelation.
