Originally this deck had Stick to the Plan in it, but due to rules clarification it was removed.
So .45 Thompson gives you 5 resources (from ammo), and Act of Desperation gives you 6 resources (if you succeed the hit ((which you should at +6)). You can do this twice since you have 2 copies of each, which will net you 22 resources total.
Mulligan hard for Backpack, .45 Thompson, and Gené Beauregard.
Try to find Astounding Revelation with Backpack.
Card Breakdown:
Hawk-Eye Folding Camera is there for the Bonus to ,, and +1 Sanity. Magnifying Glass gives +1 as well, and both can be used in conjunction with Bandolier +1 , so that you can hold both of these with your .45 Thompson.
For the purpose regarding our Role when using Grisly Totem, we are a - Because, we cannot commit cards unless we are of that role. When taking the Investigate action, utilize Practice Makes Perfect and hope you grab Deduction. Along with Magnifying Glass, Gené Beauregard, and HHawk-Eye Folding Camera, this will you give you a total score of +6 (+9 w/your base 3). You can pump 2 resources into Keen Eye for +1, but honestly that is used for Fighting mostly.
Oh! Fighting! ^_^
Did I mention the .45 Thompson? It gives you +2, Keen Eye gives you +1 (until the end of the phase (so use it when you want to fight the whole round preferably) for a total of 6 overall. Yeah, it's not Keen Eye Leo, but I'm working with what I got. Even if you miss you still get a resource, and the +1 counts until the end of the phase. Use Overpower for +3 if your nervous, and maybe draw 2 cards as well.
Gang Up lets you fight at +5 and deals +5 Damage!!
Hiking Boots lets us move around and gives +1.
On the Trail- Try to work this in to where you can grab clues on a location w/5 shroud.
Perseverance just gives me peace of mind, because at some point it's going to happen.
Hallowed Mirror let's us heal 2 damage or 2 horror 3 times (hopefully), and draws a card.
Backpack will also help search your deck for items you missed, or to find a copy of Soothing Melody.
Say Your Prayers ..because, tests.
So how to get all of this required Experience. At deck creation, take In the Thick of It, Charon's Obol, and Hiking Boots? You'll have 1 Exp. left over, so choose what you'd like to spend it on. Most of the cards in this deck are just upgrades, and you basically play with the same cards the entire time, just their better versions.
Total stat line (with everything in play): 5 | 6 | 5 | 5
Well that's it! Questions and comments welcomed!
Shout out and Kudos to @Searns
. His deck inspired me to make my own.

Jan 21, 2022Mmm.. Need a rule lawyer on this one. I don't think I should have been able to add it to the deck on here if she wasn't able to use the card. Now granted, I do see what you're saying as far as the role requirement; however, the trigger action occurs both before her role is chosen, and open hand is drawn. I would therefore think that SttP could be used because it doesn't require her to be in a role. Anyone else have thoughts? |
Jan 21, 2022Confirmed. At the moment she is able to put the card into her deck, but cannot trigger the reaction on SttP due to her having no role at that time. Bummer. |
Jan 21, 2022Bummer indeed. Time to press delete :P |
Jan 25, 2022Letting SttP work with Lola is a super-easy houserule to make, though. |
Unfortunately I don't think Lola can play Stick to the Plan. Sttp triggers before you draw your opening hand, whereas Lola doesn't select her first role until after she has drawn her opening hand. If she's not in then she can't trigger the on SttP.
