Overview

This deck attempts to use Daniel Jameson, Old Compass, and Rabbit's Foot as the basis for a fail-forward build for Isabelle.

Old Compass + "Look what I found!" can net the team 3 clues (and a card if you have the rabbit foot out). Will of the Cosmos, paired with our self-discarding cards like [Bandages](/card/08073, Hunter's Instinct and Premonition is another good way to grab clues.

Of course, these clue bursts, powerful as they are, are inconsistent. Thus, I think the best way to build this deck is go down the flex route and include ways to handle enemies while we ser up our clue-gathering turns.

I’ve found that Izzie is a better evader than a fighter. The idea is to fail the "Shove off!" test, and then retry it with Daniel Jameson, now committing cards. If you succeed the retry, you end up with the event in your hand, an extra card off of Rabbit's Foot, and the enemy exhausted and damaged.
