Note that this is my personal log for my own playthrough of the game. I'm going to test if publishing this also retains the history of the deck as I go through it. I drew Silver Twilight Acolyte as my weakness. Combined with the few Mystic cards he has, it tells a potentially interesting story...

The original base deck is found in the Derived From header. Check the comments for the changes I made to the base deck as well. Didn't want to publish it just for two card changes.

All scenarios are played on Standard difficulty.

    • The Gathering (+6xp)

The Gathering was ended in six turns. I got lucky with minimal monster encounters and was able to finish the first act in the first turn. One turn in the Cellar, I used a combination of Lucky + Look What I Found on a bad draw to scoop up both clues. This helped immensely. Once I was back in the Hallway, I just Duke moved+investigated for the last one and then ended my turn in the Hallway to finish the second act.

Manual Dexterity + Pete#2 being out let me evade the Priest and go into the Parlor where I drew twice and ended turn. Priest was stuck in the Hallway, I drew a +1 doom treachery, popped the Dynamite to blow up the Priest in the hallway, then moved in to finish him with a combination of Duke+Overpower+Unexpected Courage. Sounds like overkill, but I drew a -4 token, so it ended up being exactly what I needed to do.

If I didn't have the Dynamite, I probably would've drawn up and set up a bit more and wait for the Priest to come in and say hi so I could take advantage of Lita's bonus to end the game anyway.

Okay, it doesn't look like it retains the old deck it was derived from as history unless I specifically mark it as 'derived from this deck' I suppose. I'm going to fix that as I can.

You have to control Lita Chantler to get her bonuses. But overall it looks like an interesting deck. I think Pete has a great advantage over most other investigators because he can rely so heavily on Duke for the bare necessities. No early actions wasted on investigation tools, no early actions wasted on getting out a weapon, just straight into business.

Oh. Right. Well, good thing it didn't come to that and I didn't have to make a dumb misplay. Thanks. Pete's early game is ridiculous. Even just the ability to move+investigate in a single action is so huge.
