Basic guardian deck built with Dunwhich and Carcosa only. Focused on doin´ one thing right. With a shotgun.

Jul 05, 2023 Dummy Doctor · 1 Looks good! Nice and straightforward. Love the quote/flavor as well. I would change out the Knives for Machetes, though. Machete is just so, so much better. First Aid is also iffy. It takes an action and two resources to play, plus an additional three actions to get its full value. Compare that to True Grit (just one action and three resources for the same amount of damage mitigation) and there's no contest. First Aid does have the upside of potentially healing horror, but True Grit synergies more directly with Mark's ability (by being something you can place damage on).

Regarding First Aid, I am so much concerned about low sanity until I have exp to add Elder Sign Amulet, and is also flexible to heal damage or horror to another investigator I might be playing with. But I see your point, and the allies can also soak some horror. About the Machete yes, is way better than knives, but I hate it precisely because of it. Can´t argue on this, it´s just I don´t see Mark with a machete
