This was a fun deck that worked pretty well for the campaign as a flex fighter/investigator.

  • The most distinctive choice was No Stone Unturned for my Dunwich splash, which let me search for Boxing Gloves more consistently without being useless if I already had them (sorry, Prepared for the Worst).
  • Lone Wolf would definitely have been a better 5th splash card than Stand Together, despite the latter being searchable by Boxing Gloves.
  • I cut A Glimmer of Hope and actually think that card is a bit of a trap for Pete. It's an easy choice to discard to Pete's ability, but you should probably be running cards that actually do things and just make the hard choices about when to toss them. Even once you get two of them in your discard pile, spending an action to add two mediocre cards to your hand is generally worse than drawing a card off the top.
  • I added in some allies after belatedly discovering that Duke didn't take up my ally slot.
  • Nothing Left to Lose was the most important upgrade, letting me search it out with my boxing gloves and refill.

I've had a lot of fun with my "Knockout" Pete deck. My only suggestion would be to trade 1 No Stone Unturned and the Stand Together for 2 Inspiring Presence (if you have it). Of course I'll always pitch A Glimmer of Hope to ready Duke if I have it in hand, but I've used Inspiring Presence quite a bit because it helps do what I already want to do (pass the test), ready Duke and Heal Duke.

It's also Innate, so if you end up upgrading into True Survivor you'll be able to pull a Resourceful, Unexpected Courage and Inspiring Presence back to hand.

Just my thoughts... I hope you have a good campaign!

I recommend you to have another ally, in some scenarios/campaign having only Duke can be punishing and it can die (discard ally, discard asset)
