"Last upgrade of the campaign - kick some ass and take some names, Leo!"
This is from a 3-player Circle Undone campaign, with side missions to Rougalou and Guardians of the Abyss, all of which we passed...
then we were all killed in Before the Black Throne. Warning to other investigators: don't take your time on that one! Was over for us in 6-7 rounds.
We had a dedicated Seeker and then Sefina as a Mystic/Rogue combo. So that left Leo to start with a little clue gathering help then move mostly in to monster fighting.
Favourite investigator bar none - would change a few things next time, substituting variety for consistency, but it was a fun ride while it lasted.
Note: I picked up High Roller early in the campaign thinking it was a better "Watch this!" (I was a bit green). It wasn't, so we just threw it back in the pile and gave me the xp back, one scenario later.
