Oh thank you very much. I always play the wrong rule :D But why did the designer use "lLimit 1 per investigator" instead of unique" to reach the same function?

Unique means no one can have a second copy of whatever unique card is out. So if Agnes has Peter Sylvestre in play, then Ashcan Pete can’t also have Peter Sylvestre in play. Limit one per investigator only limits for that one player.
