HOUSE ALWAYS WINS STANDALONE
Finn didn't have time to smuggle much other than his Trusty .38, a pair of .41 Derringers, and his Switchblades past The Clover Club Security. While spying about for information on the whereabouts of Dr. Francis Morgan, Finn has to blend in by making a gambit or two, good thing he brought some Lucky Dice. Will Finn turn out to be a Dark Horse? A Hot Streak away from becoming a High Roller? Or will Finn have to Double Down before the Pit Boss closes in with the rest of the muscle?
- Chose most of these cards because they refer to card games or gambling in some way shape or form.
- Ace in the hole, obviously sneaking an ace up ones sleeve.
- Hot Streak, self explanatory.
- Sure Gamble, self explanatory.
- Watch This!, is a Gambit which works with Double or Nothing, the roulette table is very thematic, so try your luck.
- Dark Horse, apparently refers to a Horse Race, a particular horse that no one foresees will win, can also be applied to a person (survivors).
- Lucky Dice, Finn's fixed dice, hopefully they can garner him some progress in the scenario.
- Fine Clothes, at the beginning of the scenario you are said to wear some fine Clothes to attend the club. This may also benefit Finn in any Parley action.
Looks great! Love the gambling theme. The deck also looks like it would be fairly solid, too. I love the idea of the two bootleggers (Finn and Leo), spending their illicit profits at an illicit gambling den!
