Recommend Scavenging for item recycling and big man on campus for passive stat boost. If you have access to Dark Horse it works very well with Pete.
I had Fire Axe and Baseball Bat, but i think is not worthit to have these 4 cards,
Id suggest to remove baseball bat and maybe add Magnifying Glass.
Also as @Tiltowaitsays, Dark Horse is really nice card when you combo it with fire axe
