Upgrade Route, Order Subject to Change

Note: Side deck merely represents all ideas I have had for cards to add.

  1. Scrapper (3) or Charisma (3) → having Peter Sylvestre in play negates the need for Cherished Keepsake
  2. Charisma (3) or Scrapper (3)
  3. Beat Cop (2) 2x → improved test-less damage
  4. Granny Orne (3) 2x → although it might make more sense to include Granny Orne before Beat Cop since she effectively boosts the base fist, Beat Cop's test-less damage will be more important earlier on. Keep in mind that w/o Granny Orne, William Yorrick can easily get up to 7 damage and, with Scrapper, can reach 8. In other words, early on the boost to the fight ability will be less important. I think this also depends on how well this build can manage Sanity. It could end up being that Peter Sylvestre is necessary until Elder Sign Amulet is available (having said that, Cherished keepsake does give +2 to Sanity, and 8 total sanity (9 counting beat cop) is pretty good).
  5. Charisma (3) (second copy): this will allow for two beat cops PLUS Granny Orne (Or Peter Sylvestre), which seems like a better option than anything lower down on this list.
  6. .18 Derringer (2) 2x → maybe it's too early and something else should get upgraded first since the bonus of the better Derringer only gets triggered if you miss.
  7. Vicious Blow (2) 2x
  8. Cherished Keepsake (1) in place of Cherished Keepsake (tho smoking pipe might be better).
  9. Lucky! (3) 2x
  10. Rabbit's Foot (3) 2x OR Try and Try Again (3) → considering that this deck has ten skill cards, TATA could be really useful and would lower the bar for when I commit Skill cards
  11. Reckless Assault in place of Overpower?
