William and Jim return victorious from their Scarlet Keys campaign. Thanks to playing 8 scenarios and having Bury them Deep available, there was even a good amount of XP going around. Arcane Research obviously also does its thing, so even though it says "61 experience required" at the top, it's more like 40. Feel free to drop the Living Ink completely, i bought that only for the last two scenarios after the rest was in place. It is pretty good though.

This is the first time that i played a Jim deck that actually felt pretty good and not like it would've been better in another investigator. The combination of Nkosi and Grotesque Statue is a perfect counter to that disgusting chaos bag in Scarlet Keys and lets you pass a lot of tests that would otherwise be a problem.

Since the combo also makes you draw symbol tokens a lot, i capitalized on that with Sixth Sense and the Macabre Deptiction upgrade for Living Ink.

I upgraded Clairvoyance to level 5 which was very good. Often i would run into locations with 2 clues on them and a concealed card and a level 5 Clairvoyance can take care of all these things at once, picking up the clues and converting the final clue to be discovered into an expose.

I was very happy with both Toe to Toe and Deep Knowledge as my off-class cards. Toe to Toe did a lot of work against various enemies, while Deep Knowledge did a great job of keeping the deck together. Having one in my starting hand always was super nice.

The one thing this deck struggles with is resources. I probably should have kept Uncage the Soul in the deck, but since this deck doesn't even run all that many spells, i decided at some point to upgrade them into Robes of Endless Night. Eh. Probably not a great switch, but on the other hand the extra soak was useful.

All things considered, this was a fine deck. I don't play Jim very often (or at all, really), so this was a good opportunity for him to shine. He really does help a lot against that TSK chaos bag of misery and pain.
