Achieved R2 and 7XP in The Gathering with previous deck. You can buy a lot with 7XP!

General strategy of using allies to soak horror worked well. Very few enemies so the Art Student and Magnifying Glass helped and Roland had to actually investigate several times. Went with Kukri and Magnifying Glass plus Art Student for investigating then switched into Beat Cop for the showdown. Kukri seemed very action inefficient.

Pulled Stubborn Detective which is a great result for the campaign.

Using XP to go ally heavy with an upgraded Beat Cop, Brother Xavier, and Charisma. Saving 1XP for later. That set up will help with fighting, willpower and soaking damage / horror. I had plenty of resources last game, and 2x Emergency Cache so should be ok. I wonder if this will be too slow to set up.

Also investing in Short Cut as I found myself wanting for actions last time.

Bandolier and an Art Student get tossed aside.

Tried a couple of times when initially released and now coming back for a serious attempt. First time out in a few years. All feedback welcome. Eventually looking to run through Dunwich Legacy with single core. Duo with Daisy Walker. Trying a run with Roland solo to remind myself of gameplay. Also building here with Daisy in mind so limited cards for Roland. Ultimately would like to have Roland as killer plus a bit of seeking and a 'Mystic' slanted Daisy to go seeking with some monster killing through spells. Realise that it will be tough with single core and two characters looking for Seeker cards but hey ho. Currently using Core x1 Dunwich Legacy Miskatonic University Essex Express Thoughts here are to have Roland do the monster killing thing and have some efficacy in investigating when necessary. Use Allies to soak Horror. Trying to sub in cards from expansions to compensate for only a single core (e.g. Kukri for second Machete). Not sure about 2xKukri and really not sure about Bandolier but it's a filler for now.
