Norman hates skills, but he doesn't really need them to exceed. Not any more... not since he signed that Blood Pact.
Taking the best of yellow 0's and a nice mix of utility and murder in purple, Norman stands out as a capable Solo or a flexible fill-in for a group. I've only ever tested him on hard, and should be able to handle easy/standard no problem.
No Magnifying Glass, but Norman can get a lot of clues without any tests and has a high as-is.
The next upgrade I would take would be 2x De Vermis Mysteriis. That enables him to recur those sweet insight events like Working a Hunch, Drawn to the Flame, or even spells like Moonlight Ritual.
