The moment you pass under its low, narrow doorway, you find yourself in another realm altogether: a twisted, hellish version of the city outside. The streets are lined with tottering houses that lean together so that they almost form tunnels, blotting out what passes for the sky in this nightmare realm. Only a single baleful star shines in the perpetual twilight, visible between the leaning basalt towers and twisted streets.
