The recent Dexter Tankgewehr decks that I have been seeing on here reminded me that I wanted to build one since I saw this card spoiled. This is my version. I was able to solo Film Fatale and it was very fun to play!

The goal here is to get that gun out ASAP with Molly acting as your third copy in the deck and to help find the pieces. I would be mulliganing aggressively for Molly, Tankgewehr, and maybe a clue option.

The idea of this deck is to spam actions to make the gun more efficient. Upgraded Honed Instinct works nice here to provide more actions from engaging and fighting (it's easy to over-succeed). Deny Existence and ward give you space to breath while you reload. Secondary fight options like Brand are nice to get those last points of damage.

The deck takes a little while to get on line but it really sings when you start getting value from those extra actions!

Sorry I'm slow on this- are we assuming that Dexter uses his ability and swaps in the second copy for two shots?

That is certainly an option (to make use of his discount/fast play) but it was not the play pattern that I used. He benefits more from the extra actions to reload with flexibility. Having clue/damage options that don't take up hand slots are critical as a mystic so he has base 5 investigates and attacks.

Appreciate the reply- can you expand on what a basic turn looked like for you with this deck?

During testing, I drew a lot of weaknesses during the first 3-4 turns which hurt the set up a bit but I had Molly for the draw/search. The ideal game state when set up is to have the gun out, fire it to nuke an enemy for 4 damage. Then reload. Then investigate, move, or deal any additional damage (for high health enemies). This is possible due to 4-5 action turns with leo and honed instinct. With mystic spell suite cards, you are investigating with 5 willpower.
