Played this deck to almost completion in the RttDL, taking sidequests (Guardians and Hotel) for the extra exp. She was also the ally-carrier in Dunwich mainly because they're all neutral and very payable for her.

Truly a star.

The idea of this deck was playing your assets on Survival and Mystic roles and never getting back to these roles. Ideally you hard mulligan for Crystalline Elder Sign and Dark Horse, since you have 2x Studious, it's easier to draw them in your opening hand, plus, you do have a lot of card draw to fish for them as soon as possible.

After these two assets, you should not change back to these roles unless you already have a improvisation on hand, that way you play Improvisation, play the asset you want to play (get the discount), then change you role as usual. Only real issue would be to draw Crisis during the card draw on Improvisation itself, but that's Arkham I guess.

Piloting you have mainly two modes: investigating or fighting, alternating your roles between seeker and guardian. Ideally you better be on guardian for the mythos phase if you have Take the Initiative on hand, otherwise you just change as it suits the cards you want to play.

Upgrade path:

One of the most important upgrades is replacing your St. Hubert's Key for the Crystalline Elder Sign, since you're not able to use reactions, you may defeat yourself if not careful. Lola is kind of fragile in terms of health and sanity.

I didn't really feel the need for a Bulletproof Vest or an Elder Sign Amulet, but damage/horror can be mitigated playing ally-carrier in Dunwich, or having a friend, say Tommy Muldoon with Something Worth Fighting For and True Grit. I decided to put Leather Coat in here since it's a 0-cost asset without any triggers, but you can also use a Track Shoes for its +1 , it should not slow the deck at all since you should only play it with an Improvisation.

For sure you can play a Peter Sylvestre and /or Jessica Hyde, they are a nice match with the 3-cost discount from Improvisation. Unlucky for Lola, we can't actually use reaction triggers on assets of a different role, so they're not going to heal any time soon, that's why I went with Guiding Spirit, it provides a soak, a stat, but unfortunately it also exiles.

Keen Eye is here because it's a resource-sink permanent, that gives us both and . The idea is that, sometimes, you draw your entire deck before finding Dark Horse, that way you can spend your resources for some nice boosts. Also, it lets you play Stand Together without really deactivating Dark Horse.

Since I played this deck, Geas has been released, and could be a nice addition, playing it after you've done your main setup, promising not to draw, you can still play shortcut and commit the other events.
