Dexter Drake build focused on finding clues. For ally slots you want Arcane Initiate to draw your spells (Clairvoyance/Rite of Seeking), use Dexter Drake's ability to replace her with David Renfield and profit right until the Witching Hour, when you replace him with a different asset (ideally Familiar Spirit).
Liquid Courage and Fearless should keep your horror in check, while Pickpocketing should keep you drawing cards in combo with Mists of R'lyeh and Sword Cane.
In case of enemies that need to be killed, use either Spectral Razor or Shrivelling. But most of the time you would prefer to evade.
To be paired with a Monster Slayer like Mark Harrigan (ID:8051).
